Glitter Fade + 3D Stars!

I love doing glitter acrylix mixes like this but I don't know why I still do it since I get sick of them in like 2 days, and you can't take them off like nail polish. Anyways, I did four different color mixes with my Martha Stewart glitters, the pink/silver is called Kunzite, the purple/silver is called Purple Sapphire, the green/silver and green/gold is Golden Beryl mixed with Peridot (my August birthstone!) and the turquoise is of course Turquoise.

I have a few thousand of these flat star confetti, which look really cool embedded under the acrylic.

Hopefully I'll figure out a way to do nail art somehow on top of this nail design when I get super bored of them.

Purple Glitter Acrylic Mix

Haven't done a glitter acrylic mix in a while, and thought I'd give myself a break after being so tired from my vacation.... I haven't given a name to this mix, but it has an unexpected color combo. I used mostly Charoite (a purple fine glitter), Lapis Lazuli (a tinsel bright blue glitter), and Copper (a tinsel copper glitter) all by Martha Stewart. I eyeballed the purple glitter into a tiny bowl and put equal amounts of copper and blue tinsels. I mix the glitters first because I can see what the colors and proportions before adding the clear acrylic powder (which looks white). When I found a nice balance, I added the acrylic and applied my French tips. I'm happy overall with how it turned out. I love the color of the purple glitter, but never seem to use it on my nails...

I added a half swipe of LA Colors Art Deco striping brush in a black with silver glitter color. And that's it! I'll prolly keep this on for a few days until I can't stand it anymore. An Old Favorite

After bleaching my hair, I felt so shaken up I needed to get back to my roots (no pun intended!) and paint on an old favorite to remind me I'm still me... So I, as usual, couldnt decide on a color so I used Pink Promenade Creme by NYC, Sunny Side Up by Wet n Wild and Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen Hard as Nailz. Painted on zebra stripes, which takes me all of about 2.5 minutes for ten fingers now... and of course a couple coats of Seche Vite Top Coat. I think I have finally synchronized the use of 1 bottle of Seche Vite with 1 bottle of NPR. Which makes sense since everytime I paint my nails I aways have to take of polish and apply top coat. But now they are finally in sync so I buy them together now. Oh my life is so simple.

SPARKLE MOTION

First set of nails done in my new place in COCO COUNTY!! Personally, I think I'm getting better at doing glitter acrylic French tips (versus painting them on). I got inspiration to mix the glitters like they're fading into one another from my last post of the sponging technique and from a Thank You card I recently made with the same glitter. I used Martha Stewart's "Lapis Lazuli" glitter (blue) and "Tourmaline" (pink). I just mixed a 1/4 tsp of the glitter with 1/2 tsp CLEAR acrylic and applied the pink in the shape of the smile line, leaving a small space. I then applied the blue at the tip (the squared off part) leaving the same space in the middle of the colors. Then I mixed the pink and blue (NOT USING PURPLE GLITTER), and voila~! Filled everything in with clear acrylic. If any one actually cares, it IS possible for me to do video tutorials, just ask nicely. :) Also, this design was really simple to do with my left hand as well.
