Full Sets At School :)

OMG you guys, I've been such a bad blogger!!!! Ironically, it's because I've been super busy with school- I've been taking the manicuring course at Paris Beauty College in Concord, CA and I haven't been able to finish my fall challenge or blog at all! Here are a couple of pictures of the acrylic full sets I've been doing at school the last few weeks. I don't know if I'll have a chance to blog again before school is over but I'm trying to continue to snap pictures if I can!

This set is my hand model Chrissy's hands. She gets almond shaped nails because she's a vet tech and she wears gloves and has to pick up kitties by their necks and such. She loves 3D nail art of course and got tiny white bows on a few of her nails and clusters of multi colored half pearls on the rest.

These are DUCK FEET nails. My first set of duck feet actually on someone else. In the beginning of school, I did a full set of duck feet on myself, but these were much better. Also, the girl that got these nails was going to homecoming that weekend so it made it super fun for me to do. I used forms instead of glue on nail tips to get this flared out look.

These are just fun two toned funky french acrylics with cut out stars embedded in the acrylic. I finally had to bring my drill to school because I think I'm getting RSI from hand filing. Sad, but it's so much fun doing acrylics at school.

That's all for now, you guys, so hope I can get back to blogging once my busy busy schedule dies down a bit!

Valentines Mani #2: Jungle Funky French

This wasn't what I had in mind when I sat down to do a second valentines mani- it just happened. It's a super sparkly animal print funky French that had tiny pops of pink (it looks purple but it's pink) inside the cheetah print. I used metallic pink hexagon glitter to and outlined it in black to make a cheetah print. Underneath this is a white French tip, covered in Metallica by Wet n Wild, with an unnamed silver glitter on top of the silver part. Then I added a black zebra. It's fun, sparkly and is definitely a contender for actual Valentines day nails.

30 Day Nail Challenge - Day 22 - Inspired by a Song

Mine: ^^^

Ke$ha's :
I was actually watching Pop-Up Video on VH1 when I had to do this design, and luckily enough Ke$ha's Tik Tok Video came on and they show her feet with gold leopard toes at the very beginning of the video! I hopped off the couch and immediately did these! With matching hands!

My Go-To Pink

I AM SO SICK OF DISNEY I can't believe I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow! I had to switch it up and end my Disney series so I could be excited about Disneyland and not tired and frustrated!

I chose to do a hot pink to contrast my platinum blonde hair that I worked on all weekend. I used this weird pink-orange neon that my girl Julia gave me-which color number rubbed off, and topped it with my GO -TO pink shimmer which is Sally Hansen's HD in LCD. I've said it before and I've said it again, it is such a pretty color in the sun, you can see a tiny bit of blue micro-shimmer. Then decorated it with teeny tiny leopard spots that I did using a nail pen. :) Maybe I will post a non-nail related picture from Disneyland. <3

The Search for a Perfect Cheetah Color Scheme

I know I've posted hella cheetah/leopard print, but I can't seem to find the perfect colors to keep longer than 2 days!!! Here I have "Here's the Color to Watch" by OPI and Cabernet Frost by Wet N Wild. Nothing seems to fit. I will go out and buy nail polish if someone else can show me a picture of the perfect leopard print. I've tried everything, browns, purples, pinks, rainbows, mixed colors. I need a list and a picture of the perfect shades for leopard print. Thanks!

Finally Leopard

Finally have a computer I can (easily) update my blog again. As for the last few months I havent posted, I will prolly quickly upload fuzzy pictures of my iPhone shots> Also, I finally started doing my acrylics again after a long break for baking and present-making.
The colors I used in this is Apricot Beige by Caronia (I've never heard of this brand but just got a load of colors from my dads house). The spots on the leopard print is a mixture of the Apricot Beige and a dark brown and orange; lined with NYC's Plaza Plumberry. Now, on to updating...
